Goddess Krystal a.k.a. Krystal The Alkaline Doula is a two time unassisted home birther, an herbalist and a doula from the 7th ward of New Orleans who has delivered 35 babies so far. She has been practicing Voudou for the past 8 years, learning from the forest, nature and through her communication with her ancestors.
Krystal wrote this book so that melaninated people can have the knowledge to gain their magic and culture back. She wrote this book so that they can have access to the things that make their lives amazing. Krystal is determined to bring back magic, history and culture to melaninated people because it belongs to them.
