Take deep breaths in through your nose when you use your inhaler - this will allow the aroma to penetrate deep into your lungs where it can best do its work.
- Gently remove the plastic cap, then position the nasal inhaler close to the nostrils.
- Inhale slowly while counting to 5 and gently moving the stick under the nostrils.
- Hold your breath for 5 counts, then exhale for another 5 counts.
- You may repeat this process 2-3 times as needed.
If the child is 15 and up the best option is the Adult Stress or Stress Sadness and Hopelessness inhaler.
